Commercial and industrial electricity rates vary based on energy consumption, peak demand, load factor and service requirements. Evergy offers rate structures for businesses of different sizes, with additional economic development incentives available to qualifying new and expanding businesses. Specific rate estimates are determined by individual operating needs and applicable utility tariffs.

Kansas offers competitive natural gas options for commercial and industrial operations. According to the U.S. Energy Information Administration, the state's average industrial natural gas price was $4.29 per thousand cubic feet in 2024. Large-volume customers may purchase natural gas from third-party suppliers while using local utility infrastructure for delivery. Published transportation charges range from approximately $0.09 to $0.18 per therm, depending on the utility and service classification. Actual costs vary based on consumption, service requirements, monthly charges and applicable surcharges.
